How much does it cost to join the beta?

The beta package is 5,000 query credits for $500 CAD. A $75 deposit holds your seat, and the remaining $425 is charged 48 hours before launch.

When does the beta start and how long does it run?

We are targeting late July to start, the 15th of August at the latest. The beta should run for 4 to 6 weeks.

How will I get access?

We send you an email 48 hours before launch with your access instructions.

How does query pricing work?

You spend credits per query. Queries start at 50 credits ($5) and go up to 500 credits ($50), depending on the volume of data requested and the complexity of the question.

What if I run out of credits during the beta?

There is no yearly lock-up. You pay as you go, and if you go over your credits you can always add more.

Can I get a refund if I am not satisfied?

If you are not satisfied at the end of the pilot, 50% of your unused credits are refunded.

Do you offer enterprise or custom plans?

Yes. Enterprise plans have custom credit volume and pricing. Contact david.latortue@marasa.ai for details.

What data is included?

Canadian credit card transaction data covering spending trends and location data across 454 categories, at a granularity of one week per FSA (neighborhood by postal code).

Which regions are covered during the beta?

The GTA and Greater Montreal for the beta, expanding to the rest of Canada afterward. Specific regions are available on request.

What time period does the data cover?

Mid 2023 to mid 2026.

What kinds of insights can I get?

Who spends in an area by category in real dollars, where those customers live, the demographic and income profile of the catchment, which categories are rising or falling, spend captured locally versus leakage to other regions, and how far customers travel for a category.

How do I access the data and can I use my own tools?

You get the source data on every query and can export it as CSV, graphs, and diagrams, navigate by map, import into Excel, and connect through an MCP server with Claude, Gemini, ChatGPT, or Perplexity.
